"methodology": "A window is a distinct (title, venue) in the crawl record. It is a FOOD window when its category/title/blurb hits Fleeting's shared food vocabulary or comes from a known food source. Churn is reported only for calendar months fully inside the observation span (first snapshot 2026-06-25 to last snapshot 2026-10-29): a month opens-count is windows whose stated open date falls in it, closes-count is windows whose stated close date falls in it. Median days-open is counted inclusively (one-night = 1 day) over food windows that closed in the span and carry both dates. A short window opening and closing between two weekly crawls can be missed; this is a sample of the curated windows Fleeting tracks, not a census of every restaurant change in Nashville. No number is hand-entered.",
