Watch a tiny list climb to 100.

No big list yet, no brand you have heard of -- just an honest count and the issues we have actually shipped, out in the open. At this size every single subscriber moves the number, and you can watch it happen. That is the whole point, and it only works right now, while we are small.

Readers on the climb20 of 100

80 to go. At this size a single new subscriber is a step you can see -- which is exactly why we are doing this in the open now and not later. (as of 2026-10-11)

Why this only works because we are small

A counter climbing to 100 is only interesting while the numbers are small enough that one person changes them. Once a list is the one everybody in Nashville already has, "watch us grow" stops meaning anything -- the number moves whether you showed up or not. So this is a window that closes on itself: there is exactly one climb from nothing to 100, and you are standing in it. That is not a growth hack bolted on; it is the same thing Fleeting is about -- the stuff that is here, then gone.

Be the next number. You will be #21.

Subscribe and you are reader #21 on a public climb to 100 -- a number only this honest while we are still small. This list does not ping you -- no alerts, no same-day notifications, just the Thursday heads-up in your inbox.

Unsubscribe anytime. We never share your email.

Fleeting is the weekly list of Nashville's time-limited food, drink and events -- the things that are here. then gone. See what that looks like on the conditions board and the founding era page.
