Belle Air, Library of Congress HABS
A Villain's Vendetta.
A murder mystery in a 1790 mansion. Wicked company, a worthy cause, and a killer hiding in plain sight. Come in villain attire, take a character if you want one, and scheme through dinner until the lights go out.
RSVP free →How the night works
- 5:40, the Blood Moon Celebration. The Villains Alliance convenes at Dracula's castle with an induction vote hanging over the night. Every player gets a bundle of Alliance money and a secret agenda.
- Scheme through dinner. Bribe, bargain, lie. The buffet opens at 6 so the game never stops.
- The lights go out. One villain does not survive the evening. The investigation starts on the spot.
- Accusations, the reveal, awards. Prizes for the sharpest detective, the wealthiest villain and the best costume. Then cake, a toast to the giving circle, and music until ten.
Two ways to come
Suspect
You get a character file by email: who you are, what you wear, what you know going in. Keep it secret, even from whoever you came with. Suspect roles are limited and go in RSVP order.
Guest
No suspect file. Pick up a small villain role and some Alliance money at the door if you want them, or just watch the room turn on itself. Come in costume, eat, drink, and vote at the end.
Want a character? RSVP by Wednesday, October 28 so your file reaches you in time. After that, you come as a guest.
The house
Belle Air is a real 1790 brick house that a Nashville mayor dressed up in 1838: rosewood doors, frescoed ceilings, a cantilevered staircase, and a secret room upstairs you enter by stepping through a window. For one night it is Dracula's castle.

The rooms are real, from the inn's own photos. The decor and the crowd are an AI render of what we are setting up.
The cause
The night benefits the Nashville Entrepreneurs Giving Circle for cultural and economic development in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, through the power of entrepreneurism and self-determination. See how the circle works. There is no ticket. Give a suggested donation by QR at the door and at the closing toast, or give now with the code below. Gifts are tax-deductible.
Scan to give, or open the fund page. Gifts go to the Nashville Entrepreneurs Giving Circle Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Questions
Do I have to act?
Only as much as you want. Suspects read from their file. Guests can just enjoy the night.
I don't know anyone. Is that okay?
That is the point. Every character has a reason to talk to every other one.
Can I bring someone?
Yes. Add their name on the form. If they want their own character, have them RSVP too so the file goes to them.
What if I already RSVP'd by email or text?
You are on the list. Use the form only if you want to change something; the same email updates your RSVP instead of adding a second one.
How big is it?
The house holds 50. Past that, RSVPs go on a waitlist and we will tell you if a spot opens.
RSVP.
Free. One form per person; a plus-one can ride on yours.
Your details go to the host for this event only: the character file, a reminder the day before, and day-of changes. Not added to the Fleeting newsletter.
